This browser didn’t send its device certificate
Billing at this address works only on an enrolled device, and the browser shows who it is with the device’s certificate. This time it sent none — usually because the certificate prompt was cancelled or closed, and the browser remembers that choice.
Try againChrome or Edge (Windows, Linux, Mac)
-
Close every window of the browser and start it again — or type
chrome://restart(Chrome) oredge://restart(Edge) in the address bar. Closing one tab is not enough: Chrome and Edge remember a cancelled certificate choice until they are fully restarted. - Open this address again and choose this organisation’s certificate when the browser asks.
Firefox
- Type
about:preferences#privacyin the address bar and go to Certificates. - Choose View Certificates, then Authentication Decisions, and remove the remembered decision for this site.
- Come back here and choose Try again; pick the certificate when asked.
iPhone or iPad
- The certificate comes in a configuration profile: check Settings → General → VPN & Device Management lists it.
- If it is not there, ask the operator for the profile and install it, then open this address in Safari again.
Still not working?
The certificate may not be installed on this device, or it was revoked. Ask the operator to enrol this device. On a managed Chrome the operator can set the certificate to be chosen without a prompt (the runbook says how).
